The Rhode Island Southeastern Massachusetts Football and Spirit Conference (RISMA) conference consists of 11 associations with over 2,000 participants which follows the regiment of the Pop Warner Little Scholars® (PWLS).  PWLS provides youth football and cheer & dance programs for participants in 41 states and several countries around the world. Consisting of approximately 360,000 young people ranging from ages 5 to 15 years old, PWLS is the largest youth football, cheer and dance program in the United States. The mission of RISMA is to inspire the youth of Southeast Massachusetts and Rhode Island towns to participate in the activities of youth football and cheer programs, regardless of race, creed, or national origin, and to benefit from participation in team activities in a safe and structured environment. Through this active participation, RISMA associations teach the fundamental values, skills and knowledge that young people will use throughout their lives.   RISMA strongly believes Academics and Athletics go hand-in-hand.  At every level, they seeks to develop well-rounded young men and women who learn not only the fundamentals of football and cheer but also the importance of education, in an atmosphere conducive to developing sound mind, body and character and having an enjoyable time along the way.
